Inquests 1811-1819 (broken series)	
Isabella, female slave of Dixon BOGG	
Found 20 Sept. 1812; believed to have been dead about 7 days	
Dixon BOGG, Sidh SIMPSON ("a woman of color")
Emmanuel (a "man of color, the property of Dixon BOGG)	
Body found in a field in Mary BRYAN's property, between Neuse & Trent. The 
body was disfigured by dogs, turkey buzzards and vermin; had marks of violence 
on her throat, probably from a knife. BOGG says that her husband, his slave 
Elias, said that he had suffered much from her, wanted her child sold; Elias 
took BOGG's shotgun and left; has not been seen since. Other witnesses testify 
that Elias was escaping.
