The body was disfigured by dogs, turkey buzzards and vermin; had marks of violence on her throat, probably from a knife. BOGG says that her husband, his slave Elias, said that he had suffered much from her, wanted her child sold; Elias took BOGG's shotgun and left; has not been seen since. Other witnesses testify that Elias was escaping.
