Said he could swim; he had learned in New York. Dove in water; TAYLOR saw rise to the surface twice, then he sank again and TAYLOR saw no more of him. BROWN says JONES went with him to the river, undressed, and went in swimming. He sank and BROWN saw no more of him. Inquest verdict: Inquest 20 April 178. Find that the deceased came to his death by accidental drowning.
