John Benners Estate Record

State of North Carolina
Craven County

In obedience to the annexed order of the Court of Craven County, the 
subscribes have made partition of the two thirds of lot number twenty 
on (21) ON Trent Street in the Town of Newbern agreeable to the last 
will & testament of John Benners deceased that is to say we have 
allotted to Thomas Partridge the east half adjoining William Goods and 
to Lucas Benners the West part containing the same quantity with an old 
house and kitchen thereon subject to the dower of Elizabeth Howard. And 
we certify that the parties Thomas Partridge and Lucas Jacob Benners on 
behalf of his son Lucas have given their entice approtation to the same 
given unto our hands this 16 March 1803
