Information: Oath of Joseph HILL that he did not appear in court September 
1795 as commanded because during the first days of the court session he was 
seriously ill and confined to his bed, and that during the continuance of the 
court he was still too feeble and in danger of relapse by such travel (a 
distance of 30 miles). In addition during the first days of court his son was 
dangerously ill, and in fact died during the sitting of the court. He prays 
that the fine be remitted.

Jury. BLANKS¹ absence was in no way from neglect or inattention to the court, 
and he asks that the fine be remitted.
