Before W. M. Watson, C.S.C

In the matter of the administration of the estate of Phillip Pipkin Dec'd

W. B. Byrd being sworn doth say: That Phillip Pipkin late of said county is dead 
without leavng any will and testament, and that he as public administrator is 
the proper person entitled to letters of administration on the estate of the 
said Phillip Pipkin the former public administrator Jas. C. Harris being dead. 
Further that the value of said estate so far as can be ascertained at the date 
of this application is about $386 in personal property and that Lewis Pipkin 
(Mesic, Pamlico Co, NC), Levi G. Pipkin (Elizabeth City, NC), Elias H. Pipkin 
(Vandemere, Pamlico Co, NC), Jesse W. Pipkin (Goldsboro, NC), Phillip Pipkin 
(Goldsboro, NC), Mary A. Taylor (Old Fort, McDowell Co, NC) and Isaac Pipkin, 
whereabouts unknown being left the state about 28 years ago, are entitled as 
heirs and distributees thereof 
Sworn and subscribed before me, this 18 day of Nov 1893
