Foster, a slave, the property of John M. BRYAN	
27 November 1837		
Killed by George, a slave of John BLACKWELL. Death by a blow on the left side 
of the head inflicted by George with a bedpost. Assault took place on 26 Nov 
1837; Foster lived until the 27th. Death occurred at the home of Eliza BANKS, 
a colored free woman.
