SCOTT, L. FOY, & Jimme SIMMONS Witness statements: BRYAN says that he knew the deceased; he had been unwell at times and complained of pain in his left side and breast. Doesn't know he whether or not he was a drinking man. Others all corroborate the testimony of BRYAN. Inquest verdict: Inquest held at New Bern on above date--date of death not given. Deceased came to his death by heart disease, and there is no evidence of foul play.
