Witness LEE states that he went into the deceased's room about dinner time, and she did not say anything was the matter. She was apparently well in the evening. When LEE went to her room in the morning, she was dead. Her dinner was bread and fish. She was quiet at all times; had been there about 12 months. HOBBS said she had been brought from the poor house. KONTZ said he fed her yesterday at dinner and she seemed well. Went to her room to carry water in the morning and called her, but she did not answer. Uncovered her head, and found she was dead. She has not been noisy for a month or so. No doctor has seen her since her death. Inquest verdict: Inquest held 13 October.
