STANLEY, Jarvis BRYAN, Mary DANIELS, Mollie FARRABEE Witness statements: Inquest held on Trent Rd. 3 miles from New Bern. Kenny DANIEL testified that deceased had lived with him for about a week for a small compensation. He was very old and "about worned out;" he was over 70, and complained of being blind at times. Could not do much work. M. DANIELS testified she was Kenny DANIELS wife and knew nothing more than what he had testified. J. BRYAN testified that he saw WILLIS when he fell and came to him with the ladies. They spoke to him and he did not answer, so they concluded he was about to dye, and soon after he expired. He was very old and feeble. Inquest verdict: Verdict: Deceased came to his death by debility and old age.
