p 89 - 20 Nov l762 - Adam Tooley of Princess Ann Co Va son of James Tooley
and Sarah his wife who was daughter of Adam Ferguson of Bath Co. - POA to
William White, Christopher Neal - WIT Richard Caswell, John Sheepar

p 230 - l0 April l763 - Mary Heborn (or) - love, good will after my decease
- my children - James, Steven, Rafter, George Stewart, grandchild Mary Pope
- WIT Hugh Moore, Scarborough Tankard - Mary signed with a Mark

NOTE: The Deed was written with "Rafter" as a child, but I think this
should be "after" as in after my decease (MMM)

p 234 - 28 Aug l759 - A very long list of the Inventory and Estate Sale of
Jeremiah Parsons dec - this list gives a good list of Parsons's neighbors on
Adams Creek as well as some across the river on Goose Creek.  Among those
buying were Betty Hill, John Lingfield, Richard Hill - only purchased one
item each - Francis Hill who purchased many items

NOTE:  Betty Hill was probably the wife of either Richard or Francis Hill

p 248 - 8 April l763 - John Williams, Chairman of the Court - put and pond
Walter Dunn aged l2 orphan of Newman Dunn - appointed to John Miller until
2l years old to teach him to be a taylor - WIT P. Ambrose, John Dudley

p 284 - Hinson Wright (or) James McCoy (ee) FO Mary Thomson from her father
James Tomson - McCoy (also referred to as McKling) bought everything Mary
inherited on the SS Bay River then in Beaufort Co bearing date l744  James
McCoy bought l00 Ac on SW Branch willed to him by Jas Homes adj Mary Thompson

NOTE:  This book has been typed; however, there are many errors in it and
the above deed is a good example.  It makes no sense and names are different 
in several places.  Anyone working in this book needs to refer to
the original

Cady used a mark

lbs both sides of Gum Swamp & line between George and Jno Stringer, brothers 
part of Pat to Francis Stringer who sold to George Stringer Sr who
sold to George Jr and William Stringer - WIT  Fred Harget, Christopher
Reynolds

NOTE: This deed is not clear and the microfilm very faded

p 206 - 2l Feb l767 - Richard Ellis and wife Mary widow of Harding Jones
(or) Islam Andrews, William Hill Andrews, and Micajah Andrews all of
Halifax Co (ee) - l000 Ac SS of Trent - Mary Jones Ellis was guardian of
Mary Jones Richard and Mary Ellis signed this deed as well as Isham Andrews

p 280 - l765 - John Rice (or) Peter Starkey Jr. (ee) of Onslow who
intermarried with Catherine Wickleffe daughter of William Wickleffe dec -
