Indenture made December 3, 1801 between William Brooks and William LEWIS 
both of Craven, for 50 pounds land in Craven on the south side of Bay River 
and head of Simsons Creek adjacent to Benjamin Whittm and and John 
Carruthers land containing 30 acres.

Witnesses: H Tillman jurat and Sam'l Sparrow
