R S Donnell to James W Bryan 

I hereby agree upon the payment of $200 I will convey and approve to James W 
Bryan the front of lot 194 on George Street allotted to me in the division of 
the Town property belonging to the Estate of R D Spaight between the heirs of 
said R D Spaight adjoining the stable lot of said J W Bryan the lot occupied 
by Matilda Gisbon and the lot of Matthew Oster on the East. Feb 16, 1854

State of North Carolina Craven Probate Court, Newbern NC May 6, 1878

Then was the due and legal execution of the afore going agreement power before 
me by the oath and examination of JA Bryan. Let said assignment with this 
certificate be registered.
