Indenture made April 17, 1756 between John Chapman and William LEWIS both of 
Craven, (money not mentioned) land in Craven on the side of Swifts Creek and 
east side of Creeping Swamp adjacent to William Clarks corner tree, line 
marked by William LEWIS and William Clark their division containing 150 
acres.

Witnesses: Joseph Bryan, Macwell Bright and William Clark
