According to Donna J. Hart, author of the book "The Descendants of
Owen Dogharty of the north of Ireland", the Owen Daughety who gave
land to his children in 1762 is the same Owen who left a will in Craven
County in 1785.

In 1762 he was giving land to the children of his first wife and the
children in his 1785 will were those from his second wife.
