At a court held at the house of Jacob Miller Esq'r the third Tuesday in 
August 1713
Assistants Present: John Nelson, Judge; Coll Wm Brice; John Slocom; George 
Bell; Jacob Miller

Then Thomas LEWIS came and acknowledged a parcel of land containing 30 acres 
unto Adam Ferguson Jun'r. Ordered deed to be recorded.

That I Thomas LEWIS in Bath County, NC (Craven Precinct) for valuable 
consideration already received in hand sell unto Adam Ferguson Jun'r one 
parcel of land containing 30 acres being part of a greater tract adjoining 
to more land belonging to said Ferguson between his own lines and the widow 
Pittmans line.

Witnesses: Dan'l M Farr-- and Wm Brice
Deed acknowledged in open court
