Bk 1, pg 421

Indenture made February 11, 1740 between Edward LEWIS late of Liverpool and 
county of Lancaster but now of Craven County to William Wilson of Craven, 
for 840 pounds land on the north side of Trent River adjacent to the mouth 
of Castagoes commonly called Samuels Creek containing 400 acres.

Witnesses: Wm Lister? and Wm Heritage
