Indenture made February 9, 1781 between Mason Lewis and Elijah Veale both of 
Craven, for 7 pounds six shillings three pence cash money land in Craven on 
the north side of Neuse River and north side of lower Broad Creek and west 
side of a small creek called Gloves Gutt formerly called Stantson Pasture 
Creek containing 9 3/4 acres.

Witnesses: John Carruthers, Thomas William York and Alexander Carruthers
