Indenture made February 10, 1740 between Richard Lovett of Craven and Edward 
LEWIS late of Liverpool in the county of Lancaster but more of Craven 
County, for 1,000 pounds land in Craven on the north side of Trent River at 
the mouth of Castagoes commonly called Jemmys Creek adjacent to the mouth of 
Samuels Creek containing 400 acres.
