Indenture made February 10, 1740 between Richard Lovett of Craven and Edward 
Lewis late of Liverpool in the county of Lancaster but now of Craven, for 1000 
pounds land in Craven on the north side of Trent River adjacent to the mouth 
of Samuels Creek containing 400 acres.

(Edward Lewis sold this land the next day February 11, 1740 to William Wilson)
