Michael & Pheby Rasher to John Carraway
-- Decemeber 1744

To all Christian people Michael Rasher of the county and province of North 
Carolina for the sum of eighty pounds current money paid by John Carraway of the 
same province and state, land containing six hundred and forty acres being on the 
south side of Neuse river.

Beginning at a white oak by the river bank about a quarter of a mile above the 
mouth of Michaels Creek and runs south to a red oak, back to the river and up 
meanders of river to the beginning.

Witnesses: John Rasher, Jno Williams, John Gallium

Acknowledged the 20th December 1744
