Indenture made September 22, 1777 between Gideon Rice and Joseph Lewis both of 
Craven, for 33 pounds land in Craven on the south side of Bay River and west 
side of Trent Creek adjacent to Long Branch containing 100 acres.

Witnesses: John Tillman and Jacob Lewis
Recorded: March Court 789
