Craven County, NC - Rice & John Bass, 1785

Newbern, Dec. 30

This day tonight were brought to town by Paul Martin, and committed
to goal, Rice and John Bass, two of those six outlawries notified
in the governor's proclamation of the 26th of November last, for
the murder of Martin Franks and James Blackshare.
