GENERAL COURT MARTIAL
By order of his excellancy the Commander in chief a Court-Martial has been 
directed to assemble at Newbern on the 16th of June next, for the trial of 
Brigadier General John Roberts, of the 2nd. Brigade of Militia. The following 
Officers compose the Court-Martial.
Brigadier Gen. Wm. Watts Jones, President.
Colonels - James O'Kelly Williams, of Beaufort county; Benjamin C. Dupree, of 
Pitt county; James Shine, of Jones County; Edward Ward of Onslow county; Henry 
J.G. Ruffin, of Greene county; Alexander Mosley, of Lenoir county.
LIEUTENANT COLONELS - Edmund Hatch, of Jones county; Danield L.Barringer, of 
Wake county; William L. Hill, of Onslow county; Richard Bayner, of Beaufort 
county; Samuel Vines, of Pitt county; Edward Beeton, of Jones county; Mabre 
Pettaway, of Jones county; Isaac Wingate, of Craven county; William S. 
Sparrow, of Craven county; James Cox, of Lenoir county.-
