                                                 RALEIGH, July 14
    DR. CALVIN JONES of Raleigh, is appointed by GOV. WILLIAMS, Adjutant-
General of the Militia of this State, in the room of DR. PASTEUR of Newbern, 
recently appointed a Colonel of the standing army about to be raised.
