The Press Association, which meets at Newbern this week, will likely get there 
just in time to do the State some service. The sheriff of Craven is in need of 
men to serve on a posse to assist him in putting Mr. Jas. A. Bryan in 
possession of the James City property which the courts have awarded to him. It 
is sweet to die for one's neighbors, even though they live in the other end of 
the State, but the Observer fears that, owing to the force of circumstances, 
it will not be able to attend the meeting of the Press Association this year, 
but will have to follow the illustrious example of ex-Sheriff Clevelend and 
send a substitute.
