This file was contributed by Florence Fulford Moore Dec. 2000. ========================================================== (Obituary from New Bern Sun Journal -- date had been cut off) Funeral Service For Mrs. Fulford This Afternoon Prominent Local Woman Passes Early Thursday Morning After Extended Illness Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon from Christ Episcopal church at 4 o'clock for Mrs. Florence Elizabeth Fulford, 67, who died at her home on Craven street early yesterday morning after an extended illness. Rev. C. E. Williams, rector of the Episcopal church of which the deceased was a devoted member and in which she was very active among women, will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Grove cemetery. She was the wife of Walter Fulford and the daughter of the late Richard T. Berry and Mary White Berry. She is survived by her husband, two daughters: one of Wilmington, and one of New Bern; two sons: both of this city; one sister, of New Bern; and three grandchildren of Wilmington
