Newbern, January 4
On Monday Morning last died, after a lingering indisposition, Mrs. Mary Moore,
Relict of the Hon. Roger Moore, Esq; one of his Majesty's Council of this 
Province; and on Wednesday was decently interred in the Family Vault on her own 
plantation near this Town.
She was a lady of great Piety, and of singular Humanity, Benevolence and 
Charity; a most tender and indulgent Parent, and a kind and affectionate 
neighbor: Her Death may truly be deemed a Public Loss, and is therefore 
universally lamented by the whole Circle of her Acquantenance.
