Edenton Gazette   Friday, Nov. 31, 1809
   DIED, on the 17th ult., at Newbern, much regretted, MR. JOHN S. PASTEUR, 
Editor of the Federal Republican, of that place. His remains were committed to 
the grave by the members of St. John's Lodge, No. 3, of which he was long a 
member.
