Craven County, NC - Obituary of Richard West, 1809

DIED

At his seat in this county, on Tuesday last, Mr. Richard West. In
discharging the last sad duty of surviving friends the tribute of
respect to departed worth, we can, with great truth say, that
through life, Mr. West, supported the character of a benevolent
and honest man - his virtues will long endear his memory to his
relatives and friends.
