Deposition of Defendant

Emanuel Turnage one of the administrators of Lewis Pipkin deceased maketh oath 
that he considers Benjamin May and Moses Fields material witnesses for him in 
the above cause, that the said Benjamin and Moses are both ancient and infirm 
persons and he is apprehensive that he shall not be able to procure their 
personal attendance hereafter and that he shall be altogether deprived of their 
testimony unless he can obtain a Commission to take their depositions absolute 
&c.
