Here is the best I could do abstracting Shadrack's will of 1780 (John's father)

Shadrack Allen 1780-Craven County Original Wills 1748-1941,NC Archives (CR. 
028.801.15)  The left side is cut off and it is very difficult to read. Abstracted 
by Clair Hadley-only that which I can clearly decipher is included

Shadrack Allen of Craven County and province of North Carolina..recommend soul 
to Almighty God..paying my lawful debts, I shall give and bequeath unto my 
Wife Jemima Allen - one negro Sarah--four sons, plantation...
Daughter Sarah -one negro woman...,also one bed....some land joining David 
Smith's line
Son John Allen - one negro primas, cows...also one negro woman; three 
hundred...of land
Son Shadrach Allen - every negro that is not mentioned in the above, also two 
beds and furniture
Executors(of my last will and testament)-my two sons John Allen and Shadrack 
Allen
