These electronic pages cannot be reproduced in any format for profit or other presentation. _________________________________________________________________________ In the name of God amen the 31st day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eighteen Twenty-five- I Benjamin Willcox of Jones County in the State of Northeastern Carolina being perfect mind and memory thanking his God-for it Calling to mind the mortality of my body Knowing it is appointed for all men once to dye- Do make and ordain this my last will and testament--- I give and bequeath of my estate in manner and form-following I give to my Sun John Wilcox one Spanish mill dollar and all the property I have hereunto gave to him his heirs and assign forever- I give and bequeath to my sun William Wilcox one Spanish dollar and all the property I have ___ unto given to him his heirs and assign forever- Then I give to my Sun Thomas Willcox land where I now have baute of John Gunter and Samuel Makky and containing parte of the land that I baute of Simmons Harrison the fourth corner of Mackkeys patent and strate line to the nears place of the river the land known by the Hickry ridge then back with the fence to the Half Moon where I ___then with the Branch to the dividing line be between me and the heirs Emanul Koonce___ and mills and all these belongs to saw mill to him and blacksmith tools and carpenters tools to him his heirs and assign forever- I give and bequeath to my sun George Wilcox the land I baute of Simmons Harrison two hundred and eighty acres more or less to him his heirs and assign forever- I give and bequeath to my daughter Nancy Wood I give the land I baute of Hugh Brack and Joseph Stanton these hundred acres more or less lying on Black Swamp to her and heirs and assign forever- Then I give and bequeath to William___ one horse to him his heirs and assign forever the ___ born to said man of this will Then I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Willcox all the rest of the property not mention in this my last will to her and assign forever- and lastly nominate my beloved sun Thomas Willcox and Mary Willcox ____ to this my last will and testament In witness my hand and seal.
