Son Thomas CARRAWAY: Piece of land adjoining the land where I formerly lived that Andrew STEWART formerly cleared, bordering STEWARD and WHITEHURST, including all land that he bought of William WHITEHURST. Also Negro girl Peggy Daughter Elizabeth PITTMAN: Piece of land which I purchased of John CARNEY adjoining land of Samuel COOK where he now lives. If she dies without heirs, to return to family. Also Negro girl Maria, and if no heirs to return to family Wife Mary CARRAWAY: 4 Negroes named Simson, Manas, Fillis, and Ginne during her life or marriage [i.e., widowhood] to be equally divided among the children that I have by her (Joshua, George, Fredrick, and Peter F. CARRAWAY) at the end of her life or at her remarriage. Also lend her land I now live on and all land not previously given away during her life or widowhood, then to her 4 sons, already named.
