CARRAWAY, Joseph		1807

Sick and weak in body but of sound mind and memory

Wife Sarah CARRAWAY: Lend the plantation where I now live and point part of the 
plantation where son Henry CARRAWAY lives for her lifetime

Son Gideon CARRAWAY: Plantation I bought of Dawson BRYAN and all lands except the 
part that belongs to the plantation where I now live. 

Wife Sarah CARRAWAY: 6 Negroes, namely Fillis, Fred, Annis, Young, Jacob, Leuse, 
and Clancy forever

Daughter Fanny NELSON: 5 negroes, namely Ben, Marcy, Simon, Gin, and Bill

Son Henry CARRAWAY: 3 negroes named Adder, Maness, and Sall

Son Gideon CARRAWAY: 8 negroes named James, Morris, Lime, Wemers, Joseph, Mose, 
Miley, and Maria

Son Gideon CARRAWAY: After death of his mother, plantation where I now live and 
all land attached to it.

All property not previously mentioned to be divided between wife and son Gideon 
CARRAWAY.
Executors: Wife Sarah CARRAWAY and two sons Henry CARRAWAY and Gideon CARRAWAY
