CARRAWAY, Thomas		1842

Weak in body but sound and perfect mind and memory

Wife (unnamed): Give fether bed, furniture, chest. Lend during life or widowhood 
negro woman Ester, bridle and saddle per horse and cart, other livestock and 
equipment, furniture (long list of household goods and furniture). Property to be 
equally divided among 5 youngest children Paul, Betsy, July, Rebecca, Daniel 
after the death or marriage of wife.

Daughter Laisa CARRAWAY: Negro girl Sara, bed and furniture

Daughter Margaret DIXON: Negro woman Bison for her lifetime, then to her children

3 youngest daughters Betsy, July, and Rebecca: Negroes—Boy Sept and Girl Rose 
equally divided when Rebecca reaches age of 15, and Sept to stay with wife and 
children as long as they stay together

Daughters Betsy and July: Feather bed and furniture

Daughter Rebecca: Feather bed and furniture to come out of the lent property to 
wife extra to her equal part

4 sons Thomas Solomon Paul and Daniel: Negro woman Het and child Rachel to be 
equally divided when Paul reaches age of 21 and not before

Little Granddaughter Sara CARRAWAY daughter of William CARRAWAY: $4 in cash

Grandson Benjamin CARRAWAY: $4 in cash

Son Paul: Shotgun and trunk

Son Daniel: Chest, tinn trunk, short gun

Lend to wife: 3 bedsteds and chairs and cushion

All property not mentioned sold to settle estate
