For my eldest son Aaron Chance I give one shilling sterling in full for his portion. For my son Oldfield Chance one hundred acres of land lying upon Holley Branch in Craven County being the said land that I live on and one bay horse, one cow and calf and one sow and pigs. For my daughter Frances Purse I give one shilling sterling for her portion. For the rest of my movable estate and after the decease or marriage of my wife that it be equally divided among my children as follows, my daughters Rachel Dill, Eve Gilstrap, Margett Chance and my sons Henry, Vinson, Stephen and Philimon Chance. I constitute my wife as my Executor of this my last will and testament. Witnesses: Sam G.
