In the name of God Aman This second Day of January in the year of Our Lord 1784. I Littleton DAVIS of Craven County in the State of North Carolina Being in helth of Body and of Good and Perfect memory thanks Be to God do make this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form as following that is to say first I Bequeath my Soul and Body into the hands of Almighty God my Heavenly Father By whom of his meare and Only Grace I trust to be Saved and Received into Eternal Rest through the Death of my Savour and Redemer Jesus Christ in whose precious Blood I set the Whole hopes of my Salvation of my Wretched Body in hopEs of a Joyfull Resurrection I Commit to the Earth to be Buried in a Christian Like manner and as touching my Worldy Estate I desire of the same as follows first I Will that all such Debts as I owe to be carefully paid. Item I give and Bequeth unto my Loving Daghter Rebeah TAYLOR my Bed & furniture also won Cow & Calf won large puter dish also six puter plats also won Linning Wheel. Item I give and Bequath unto my grandson Davis TAYLOR my largest shooting gun. Item I give and Bequeve unto my Loving Dagter Maryan TOLSON my Plantation also I give and Bequeve unto my Dagter Maryan TOLSON the Remander of my Estate what so Ever kind it may Be.
