Written: 1762

In the name of God Amen I Cornelius Loftin of Craven County Being sick and
weak of Body but of Perfect Sense and Remembrence Thanks be to God for it.
I Doe make and order this my Last will and testament in maner and form as
follows I making void all other wills before by me maid first. I comit my
sole to the Protectan of Jesus Christ hoping and believing that he by his
meritorious Death and Phashon hath Purchaised Eternal Salvation for the same
my Body to the Earth to be buried in Christian manner after the Deschrshon
of my Executors hereafter menchened and for my worldly goods I Dispose of in
maner and form as follows
Item I give and bequeath unto my Children five Pounds to be equilly devided
among them and their heirs for Ever after My Lawful Debts being Paid  I
Revoking all other wills by me maid Doe Constitute make and ordain John
Turner my hole and sole executor of this my last will and testament in
witness whereunto I have here unto Set my hand and fixed my seal
Enterlined before asigned                febuary ye 19 day 1762
