This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Gloria Taylor glot@netpath.net =============================================================== Will of Absalom Taylor located in North Carolina Archives in Raleigh CR 028.801.28 Absolam TAYLOR Will In the Name of God Amen, I Absalom TAYLOR of the County of Craven and State of North Carolina being sick of body but of perfect mind and memory and Calling to mind that it is appointed for all men to Dye and as to what worldly goods it has been pleas God to give me I give and bequeath in form and manner as followeth Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved son John TAYLOR one Shilling Starling an no more Item I give and bequeath unto Absolem TAYLOR my grandson seventy five acres of land pattend by Bazel SMITH Esq lying on the South Side of buford rode and beginning at a lone pine thence runing with James HAMMELTONS line to the parcoason thence with the percoason to the head of a branch thence with the branch and road to the first station to him and his heirs and asigns for Ever I also give unto the above named Absolem TAYLOR one Cow and Calf to him his heirs and assigns for Ever Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved son Davis TAYLOR the land and plantation whereon I now live with one other track of land joining it containing one hundred acres to him and his heirs and assigtns for Evere. I also give unto my above named Davis TAYLOR one Feather bead and its furniture and one desk to him his heirs and assigns for Evere Iteme I give unto my beloved Daughter Creasey TAYLOR one Feather bead and furniture that was her mothers to her and her heirs and assigns for Evere Item I give unto my beloved Daughter Rebecka TAYLOR one Feather bead and Its furniture to her and her heirs and assigns for Evere Item I desire all the remainder of my Estate that is not expressely given away in this will to be sold and the money riseing there from to be Equally devided between my three last Children Namely Davis Creasey and rebecka TAYLOR to them their heirs and assigns for Ever.
