BEDREADDON CARAWAY/BEAMAN BIBLE

Photocopy found at the DAR Library in Washington, DC but there was no Title 
Page attached. The original was in the possession of Carolyn Riddle of 
Springfield, Il. Sloan Spence Mason in Feb 2017 discovered a photocopy of the 
Bible on the internet which did include the Title Page and this is the image 
used for this Bible. This Bible first appeared in the Pitt County Family 
Researchers Quarterly in Feb 1997.

Because the Bible MAY be misleading it is recommended the researcher read the 
article on Beaman’s Cross Roads on the Sampson Co Archives site submitted by 
Jerome Tew, a well known and respected researcher.

Our thanks to Guy Potts and Sloan Spence Mason for their research on this 
family attempting to prove the parents of Bedreaddon Carraway and the 
indications his first wife and mother of his children was Mariah Rhodes. So 
far proofs or in the case of Rhodes a secondary source has not been found.
