And the lamp of His love xxx Additional Comments: Henry M. Erambert was a "confectioner" who's business was in Fayetteville, NC. ----------- ALBERT P. HURT was born in Lunenburgh Co., Va. and died in Fayetteville, N.C. June 8, 1883 AGED 76 YEARS. - xxx soul x Additional Comments: The tombstone is laying flat and is partially obscured by overgrowth. His wife, Morgiana Erambert's grave is to the right of his marker. Both markers are just a few feet from busy Grove Street in Fayetteville, NC. Captain A. P. Hurt was a famous Cape Fear River steamboat captain. He even had a steamer named after himself. The steamer "A. P. Hurt" was built by a company in Wilmington, Delaware in 1860. In 1863, Captain Samuel W. Skinner set a speed record from Wilmington to Fayetteville aboard the "A. P. Hurt" of 11 hours (which is averaging 10+ miles per hour). There is an advertisement in "Bernard's Wilmington and Fayetteville Directory of 1866-'7" for the CAPE FEAR STEAMBOAT COMPANY which lists both Captain A. P. Hurt of the "Governor Worth", and Captain Samuel Skinner of the "A. P. Hurt". The Cape Fear Steamboat Company was owned by the Worths. Captain Skinner was married to Emily J.
