Located on a wooded ridge (302' contour) above Stewart's Creek southeast of the intersection of MacRidge and Chicken Roads, in the vicinity of military grid coordinates PJ 796 849. The cemetery is surrounded by two strands of barbed wire fence supported by 9 posts, encompassing an area approximately 28'x 46' and is marked "OFF LIMITS" on the north side. There are seventeen markers: the oldest being for John Ellis (1832-1850) and the most recent the infant son of Jesse and Fannie Ellis (1918). All of headstones are east-facing with the footstones facing to the west. 1 White marble marker with a flat arch top set in a single low beveled base which is below ground surface. The marker has sunk up to the last line of the epitaph. The footstone has a flat top. SUSAN S.E. wife of Henry ELLIS Born June 15, 1849 Died Jan. 16, 1911 15 Small white marble marker with a flat arch top set in a single low beveled base. The footstone has a flat top. JOSEPH MARVIN J.M.E. son of Jesse & Fannie ELLIS Born Sept. 10, 1915 Died May 30, 1917 ---- Our darling baby sleeps with Jesus. 16 White marble marker with a flat top. The footstone also has a flat top. INFANT SON OF JESSE & FANNIE ELLIS DIED FEB. 27, 1918 17 White marble marker with a flat arch top set in a single low beveled base which is partially buried. The footstone has a flat top. ADDIE wife of J.S. ELLIS Born Aug. 14, 1878 Died Oct. 22, 1902 18 White marble marker with a flat arch top set in a single low beveled base which is now buried. The footstone has a flat top. MATTIE JANE daughter of J.S. & Audie ELLIS Born Apr. 16, 1900 Died July 14, 1900 [INLINE] Knox Street Manchester Township, late 19th or early 20th century. One grave (183_) located in a wooded area west of Knox Street (220' contour) between the eastern and western forks of Beaver Creek approximately 325' to the south of Honeycutt Marshalling Yard. The grave is surrounded by a 14'x 14' fence with four posts supporting two strands of barbed wire. The marker could have faced either east or west. White Georgia Marble marker base with beveled edges. Four fragments of a flat arch top marker lie on the ground, face-up in front of the base. Only a portion of the raised letter epitaph remains.
