HUGH McDUFFIE GEDDIE FAMILY CEMETERY

Located about 1 mile west of Eastover in Eastover Township. From S.R.
1728 (Middle Road), northwest 0.27 miles on S.R. 1721 (Geddie Road) to
the curve, west about 200 yards on a dirt road, at the north side of
the road.

1. McD. Geddie, son of John & Jannette Geddie 23 Jan 1843 - 26 Dec 1906
   (Hugh McDuffie Geddie, son of John Geddie and Janet Gainey, married
   21 December 1865 Mary Catherine Williams. Served in Co. I, 51st NC
   Infantry and as Sheriff of Cumberland County.)

2. Mary C., wife of McD. Geddie d. 28 Jul 1888 age 43 years & 10 months
   (Mary Catherine Williams, born 27 September 1844, daughter of Robert
   Williams and Jennett Williams)
   a. Catherine Williams Geddie 27 Sep 1844 - 28 Jul 1888
3. Hattie Oler, daughter of McD. & M.C. Geddie 2 Dec 1869 - 23 Feb 1882
   (Daughter of Hugh McDuffie Geddie and Mary Catherine Williams.)
4. Annie Cornelia, daughter of J.D. & Kate Geddie 18 Feb 1889 - 6 Oct
   1889 (Daughter of James Daniel Geddie and Catharine Maxwell. )
