Located in a cleared area approximately 325' to the west of a tributary of Carvers Creek (250' contour), on the immedate north side of McCloskey Road about 650' east of McArthur Road. The cemetery is surrounded by an 8' high, 27'x 53' chain-link fence with chain and padlock. There are five marked graves. The earliest is for Penny Taylor (1816-1886) while the most recent is that of Sandy McKay (1874-1941). All of the low rectangular stones face to the west. The one upright marker has the family name on the east side. There are no footstones. 1 Gray granite, flat topped, rectangular shaped marker. This marker sits approximately 18" high and is rough with the exception of a smoothed top. J. W. HARRIS 1875 - 1939 2 Gray granite, slightly beveled top, rectangular shaped marker. This marker sits approximately a foot high and is rough with the exception of a smoothed top. Cathron HOWELL 1841 - 1910 3 Gray granite, slightly beveled top, rectangular shaped marker. This marker sits approximately a foot high and is rough with the exception of a smoothed top. Penny TAYLOR 1816 - 1886 4 Rough gray granite marker set on a single flat base. The polished face is decorated in the lower corners with a floral motif and the family name in the middle. McKAY 5 Rectangular gray granite marker set flush with the ground at the northeast corner of the McKAY marker. Sandy McKay 1874 - 1941
