In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that EDWARD ELLIS is not a resident of this State. It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the North Carolina Journal, printed in Fayetteville, notifying said non-resident to make his personal appearance before the Justices of said Court in Cumberland County at the Court House in Fayetteville on the 1st Monday in June next. Then and there to replevy and plead to issue or judgment final by default, will be entered against him for the amount of the Plaintiff's demand and the property levied on sold to satisfy the same.
