All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/nc/ncfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Carolyn Shank Carolynshank@msn.com November 23, 2008, 3:13 pm Source: Raleigh Minerva Written: 1815 Friday, Jan. 3, 1815 ADMINISTRATOR'S SALE Notice - on Tuesday, the 21st of February next, will be sold at the late residence of ISAAC WILLIAMS, deceased, the residue of the estate of the perishable property of corn, fodder, cotton and flax, a few cattle and hogs, a stud horse known by the name of "Young Medley," six yoke of oxen, two ox- carts, a set of blacksmith tools, a pair of millstones, about 200,000 feet of boards and scantling, a rafting rope, sundry sawmill articles, saws, timber wheels and carriages, carriage and coupling chains, etc., besides other articles unnecessary to enumerate. The sale will commence about two o'clock in the morning. Six months credit will be given to the purchasers by giving a bond with approved security. At the same time and place the negroes will be hired and the land, two grist mills and one saw-mill, will be rented until the first of January, 1816. JOEL WILLIAMS JOHN C.
