Cumberland County, NC - Mark Keathley, Bond to Lewis Pipkin, 1831 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Know all men by these presence that I Mark Keathley have bargained and sold my wife Elizabeth land in the County of Cumberland it being the hole of her heirship of the lands of the estate of Elisha Pipkin dec'd her father for an in consideration of the sum of two hundred one dollars to me in hand paid for which consideration I do bind myself heirs executors and assigns in the sum of four hundred and fifty dollars to make aright to Lewis Pipkin to the said land when my wife Elizabeth comes of age to assign with me which will be same time in the year 1832 The conditions of the above obligations is such that if the above mentioned Mark Keathley and his wife Elizabeth does make a lawful right these then void other wise to remain in full force and virtue this 14th March 1831 M Keathley {Seal} asind in the presents of } Daniel Keathley } ___________________________________________________________________ Copyright.
