Cumberland County, NC - Jacob Herring to Lewis Pipkin, Bond, 1825 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ State of North Carolina } Cumberland County } Know all men by these presents that I Jacob Herring of the county of Wayne and State above mentioned to bind myself my heirs executors administrators and assigns for a bond of four hundred dollars to make a right to a certain piece or parcel of land to Lewis Pipkin of the County & state above mentioned the land lying and being in the county of Cumberland and State of North Carolina on the upper side of upper little river between that and Cape Fear River it being the undivided interest of my wife Lucretia in a piece of land left to her by her share from her father Elisha Pipkin dec'd the conditions of this bond is that after said Jacob Herring together with his wife do make and bequeath to the said lands to Lewis Pipkin the name above mentioned after it is divided this bond of word and ___ affected the said Jacob Herring have hereunto set my hand and affix my seal this the 7 day of February 1825 Jacob Herring {Seal} Test James Sharp ___________________________________________________________________ Copyright.
