C.) May 3, 1826 May 3, 1826 FAYETTEVILLE, April 19, 1826 --A STRANGER—On Monday night last, a man, whose paper show the name of WILLIAM M. DUNN, died suddenly in this town, where he had arrived the preceding evening. He appeared to be about 80 or 85 years of age, was tall and slim. It appears he formerly resided in Newbern, but was now on his way from the South, probably to Sampson or Duplin County, where it is said he had relatives living. He rode a sorrel horse, which was the only valuable article in his possession. – [Reprinted from the Observer] File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/nc/cumberland/newspapers/astrange624gnw.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/ncfiles/ File size: 1.1 Kb
