Cumberland County, NC - Col. T. Davis & Dr. Jordan Duel, 1800

Raleigh April 29

A Duel was fought at Fayetteville on the 20th inst. between Col. T.
Davis and Dr. Jordan - they took two fires, the first without
execution, but the second both received a wound nearly in the same
place, in the groin. We are happy to hear they are on the recovery.
